Is this bump on my lip a pimple or a cold sore?

I have this puss filled bump on the corner of my lip. It's not painfull or anything. It starts as a lip color bump and now has a white head. Is this a cold sore or pimple. Can a cold sore have a white head???Is this bump on my lip a pimple or a cold sore?
It's very difficult to tell from the description you have given. Many of us already have the cold sore virus dormant in our bodies, and never have a flare up of cold sores. We contracted it as children, as it is a very common virus, and children pick it up easily as they often share food and drinks, and may be less concerned about hand washing and hygiene. Cold sores can be transmitted even when the person does not have a cold sore, though it is less likely to happen then.

I'm going to assume that it is a pimple. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes, but I think if it has a head it's a pimple.

i had one of em at the corner of my mouth it was a cold sore. the top of it turns white if you pick at it
