Here are a couple things that I have heard of doing:
1. Dry up Blemishes by dabbing with lemon juice few times a day. It will also take the redness out of the blemished area.
2. I heard that Visine and hemorrhoid cream can reduce the redness of a blemish.
3. Crush up some aspirin and mix with water until you have a thick paste.. apply to area and leave on for about 10 mins..

rub a slice of lemon on the spot...it will also remove the marks ..(pimple and other marks)
it also acts as a cleanser for ur skin.
How ever lemon is highly acidic and before u use it make sure ur skin isnt sensitive to it..
other wise skin will start pealing.
After you pop it put toothpaste on it and leave it set for a few min. until it hardens. Then wash it off w/ a face wash or just a mild soap.Then take a drop of visene and rub it in to the pimple. After that put a drop of lotion on it that won't irritate your skin.

Why do i get the same pimple on the same spot?

I have the same thing. instead of getting the normal breakouts like my freinds, i get random zits and pimples in random spots. i know this hurts a little bit, but not that much, what you need to do it pop it. the way i pop it wich is the most efictinve and most painless is i take my middle finger and my thumb or my pointer finger and my thumb and i try to just peel the very top off. you will know when it is popped either when you see white stuff come out or clear stuff come out. it might bleed a little bit but not for too long. after it is popped, squeeze it so that all the pus is out. after that, either wash it out with soap and water or rinse it with a tad bit of rubbing alchohol. it might be red for a little while, but if you do it before you go to bed, it will be fine in the morning. hope i helped.

I would pop it as soon as it was popable, regardless of pain. The faster you get that nasty stuff out of there the faster it can start healing. Right after popping it stick some soap on it, the idea is to take out the puss and replase with soap. Then imidiatly clean with cold, i said COLD water, close that lil bugger back up.
If your one of those people were a single pimple ozzes a 1/2 cup a day then im not sure..just gotta ride it out.

I use Clean %26amp; Clear products to wash my face each night, and then I just use a cheap brand product that I buy at the grocery store every night. And in the morning my acne is gone and it stays away! You just have to remember to put it on every night!
I also use Clearasil sometimes, when I'm breaking out really bad, then it goes away quicker. Your preference I guess.

Then if you have some sort of mask (like I have the refining mask from proactive) put a little blob of that on there. After the mask you can put what i suggest proactive's advanced blemish treatment. Pop it, then put tooth paste on it, then put a band aide over it and leave it on over night. Trust me IT WORKS! The tooth paste dries out the zit.

try not to peel of your skin. i recently when to a skin doctor and she told me when you peel of the skin of a pimple it will cost your skin to irrate and can cost future scaring..(lilttle wholes in your face)..try not to wear too much makeup and make sure you clean your face with makeup remover and also cleanse your face up 2 two times a day with some time of facial cleanser..make sure to always wear moinsturisor..depending on skin type (some ppl have really oily skn and woukd use an oil free product)
***Let the pimple heal on its on...i know they are ugly and bother..best is the best for your skin

Either use the tips of your fingers, or some tissue around your nails.
Once squeezed, either use TCP or Tea Tree Oil on the spot, and surrounding area to prevent infection, or scarring.
Leave it for a day, then put a thin layer of concealer on top.

It won't make it go away, but it will reduce the swelling. If you have been picking it and the area and the pimple are red, LIGHTLY dab Visine on and around the area. Visine should take care of a lot, if not all of the redness.

I have a pimple on my nose that will not go away! What can I do about this?
I do not get frequent pimples and especially at 28 I have noticed I have went years without seeing a blemish, but right before Christmas I noticed I had a pimple forming on the outer top of my left nostril and I knew it would be a stubborn one.
In the past I have had those embarassing pimples on my nose that took a week or so to go away but this one tops them all. It has been over three weeks and this fairly large pimple acts like it is healing, puss drains out, a small scab falls off only to discover another fresh pimple brewing underneath. I have used some over-the-counter medications and they have not worked. I have tried to avoid messing with it because I was told I might be reinfecting it by trying to pop it, but it's still here.
What could this be? A cyst? Something cacerous? A boil? Or is not unheard of to have such a stubborn pimple on your nose that takes many weeks to go away?I have a pimple on my nose that will not go away! What can I do about this?
got to a dermatologist. he will probably prescribe you some benzoyl peroxide. if you said you pop it and it comes back, that means that when you try to pop it instead of trying to make it come out you are forcing it back in and making it come back up. it's problibly a zit, and you should talk to your doctor for some perscribed acne creams or for some helpfull hints.

Use a hot compress on it (a washcloth, sponge, or anything that will allow you to apply moist heat to the area), and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, rinse it with warm water, blot off the excess water with a clean towel, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Drinking water wont do anything for the scars. They are marks in your skin which water will hae no effect on.
i would reccomend getting on accutane, ive been on i for 5 months and my scars have drastically gotten wayy better. I also use Mederma (a gel you can buy at any drugstore for about $12) and put that on everynight before you go to bed.

Well ok, I DONT!!!! HAVE ANY TYPE OF STD!! im only 12 and i've never had sex as you would expect. IM A VIRGIN! and i got a pimple in that area its pussing. There are several things you can do:
Pop it (obviously). If its not where you can pop it, you can get it raised by mixing egg yolk and salt and letting it sit.
If you do, I would suggest putting some peroxide on it afterwards so it kills the bacteria.
You can also use pepto-bismol. It will help dry it up because it has salicylic acid in it. Put it on and let it dry.
Rubbing alcohol may help dry it up, but be careful if you already have dry skin.
Make sure you don't touch it too much, because it will make it worse.

Im gettin a pimple on my nose and i already have another big red nasty one on my nose too. I feel the other one growing and it kinda hurts. Any tips on how to make it stop growing and to help the other one go away, please because im going out with this girl this weekend and thats embarrasing. Try Visine, if it's red, it actually decreases the amount of redness. Put toothpaste on it for about 20 minutes. You can even ice it for a few minutes. Put a little bit of concealer and it'll barely be noticeable. I've heard Preparation H, a hemorrhoid cream does the same, but I haven't tried that one yet.

But if you have dry skin, don't put on toothpaste with a lot of alcohol in it.

Try the followin tips i found for u .do not use chemicals on skin. Follow these instructions and do let me know if they worked on your skin. i'm sure they will!
1. Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.
2. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.
3. Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent acne, pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
4. Place strawberry leaves on the acne, the alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling.
5. Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. About 15 days application helps cure acne, pimples and reduces blemishes and scars.
6. Another method is to massage the face with the skin of lemon before washing with lukewarm water.
7. Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, %26amp; other skin infections.

28. Mix the paste of tender neem leaves with turmeric and apply of affected area. An eastern approach to acne home remedies.
29. Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. Pimples disappear like magic without leaving a mark.
30. Make a mixture of lime juice and rose water. Apply on face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
31. Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.

42. Make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply on face to remove blackheads.

44. Large pores on facial skin can be treated with paste of sandalwood powder with masoor dal.

Yes if you want them to go away fast, then use toothpaste. Before you go to bed dab some on it and then wash it off in the morning. To keep them from coming back you want to get good makeup remover and cleanser.

if u just get the occational pimple, like myself. just make sure your taking ur makeup off at night and wash ur face in the morning, and when u do get a break out, i use Clearasil daily tinted acne treatment cream. the tint gives u coverage so u dont need to put makeup on to cover it which woudl lead to it getting worse and more clogged. after putting the cream on, i usually see results in a couple hours, it brings all the ickys to the surface then gently pop it with Q-tips - dont use ur fingers, it will add oil to it and ur will harm the skin around it making it take longer to heal. and try ur hardest not to messing with it, u will make it worse and then it will take longer to heal up. by doing this my pimples are usually completely gone in like a 2 or 3 days. the cream i mentioned also takes away redness too. hope i helped.

Ok put lemon juice on them or toothpaste over night to dry them out. Wash your face with warm water and soap everytime you feel that it's oily. Don't pop them. But if you have no choice, the flame the end of a pin and wash the pimple first with soap. Then use the disinfected pin and pop it. Use a clean towel or napkin to wipe it.
everybody is different but this is what works for me..
first thing: throw away all your make-up and old brushes you've been using. they collect the worst bacteria and germs.
second: proactiv solution. i hate infomercials but this definitely worked for me. after a while though, it stopped working (your skin just adapts to anything you use too much, truth be told). so now i use it maybe 3 times a week. i found a happy medium and it works great.
third: reduce the amount of sugar and greasy foods you consume. soda, candy, iced coffee drinks, etc... drink plenty of water and eat healthier.
fourth: don't over abuse your skin. when people break out, they have a tendency to go nuts and scrub the crap out of it and put on all sorts of stuff. chill out! you may irritate it and end up making it worse.
keep in mind that nothing will be a magical cure for it, unfortunately. you can definitely reduce it but don't think you're gonna wake up one day and it'll be gone forever. it sucks, trust me i know--but at least you'll feel more confident! i hope this helps!

This is what the lady who gave me a facial told me to do (because its what she did to me) and it works really good.
Soak a wash cloth with really hot water and let it soak on your face. it will open all the pores up. The use any kind of face wash. After you wash your face, put two pieces of toilet paper around your fingers and start squeezing around your face. Any dirt and oil that didnt come out when you washed your face will come out now because your pores will still be open. Any pimples you have will be gone within a day or two. You'll be amazed.

ok well when i asked questions like this everyone told me acne products and i used them...for you i suggest neutrogina acne scrub w/ micro beads..and GO OUTSIDE it sounds stupid but i've been out side more and more and my face is clearing up a TON...o and its probably also hormones...and that time of the month..so just be patient and try that scrub twice a day! it really works for me! good luck!

You might have to experiment with different products, but make sure that you don't try them all at once. That can aggravate your skin and make pimples worse. Some people's skin responds well to salicylic acid (0.5% is usually strong enough) while others find benzoyl peroxide works better. The key is to find products that work well together (face wash, toner, lotion and masks) and be consistent. You can't use products haphazardly and expect them to work as well as if you use them on a regular basis. Good luck!

I used to drink soda all the time and my face would break out BAD!!! So... just this summer I started drinking water all the time and I noticed that my face was clearing up really fast!!! Try the followin tips i found for u .do not use chemicals on skin. Follow these instructions and do let me know if they worked on your skin. i'm sure they will!
1. Put toothpaste on your pimple before you go to bed, should help reduce swelling overnight. Make sure it is the paste not the gel. One of the most popular acne home remedies.
2. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne.
3. Apply a paste of fresh methi (fenugreek) leaves over the face every night for 10-15 minutes and washed with warm water. This will prevent acne, pimples, blackheads, and wrinkles.
4. Place strawberry leaves on the acne, the alkalinity helps to reduce the swelling.
5. Extract juice of one lemon and mix with equal quantity of rose water. Apply this mixture on the face and let it stay for about half an hour. Wash the face with fresh water. About 15 days application helps cure acne, pimples and reduces blemishes and scars.
6. Another method is to massage the face with the skin of lemon before washing with lukewarm water.
7. Apply fresh mint juice over the face every night for the treatment of acne, pimples, insect stings, eczema, scabies, %26amp; other skin infections.
8. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables should be included in your diet. All acne home remedies should include a healthy diet.
9. A couple of garlic cloves, crushed and dabbed on the face 1-2 times a day. One of the smellier acne home remedies!
10. Home face wash for acne: Mix together 1 or 2mls each of the following: witch hazel, tea-tree and sweet fennel essential oils, adding essential oil of geranium for women and essential oil of rosewood for men. Mix with 300mls of water. Shake before use, as the oils will float on top of the water during storage. Dab affected areas with cotton wool two or three times a day. The oils will clean and unclog giving antibiotic-like protection to the skin.
11. Apply fresh lemon juice on the affected area overnight. Wash off with warm water next morning.
12. Use 2-3 tsp. dried basil leaves to 1 cup boiling water. Steep 10-20 minutes. Cool, and apply with cotton ball.
13. Grind orange peel with some water to a paste and apply on affected parts. One of the best acne home remedies.
14. Clean face with cotton wool dipped in rose water 2-3 times a day.
15. Mix 1 teaspoon lemon juice in 1 teaspoon finely ground cinnamon powder and apply on affected areas frequently.

20. Ice down the acne before bed, by morning it should be noticeably less swollen. Works best on larger pimples that have not yet formed a head.
21. Take vitamin B5 and zinc supplements daily to strengthen the skin's resistance to acne.
22. Mix mint juice with turmeric powder and apply on affected area. Leave for 15-30 minutes and wash off with lukewarm water.
23. Mix some vinegar and salt in a bowl. Pour a little bit in your hand and rub it on the pimples. Soak a face towel in it and dab it on the bumps. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off.
24. Blend cucumber and make a paste. Apply this as a mask on your face and leave it for 1/2 hour and then rinse. This refreshes your skin and prevents acne.
25. Mix corn flour with egg white and apply on your face. Let is dry completely for 1/2 hour. Dip your hands in warm water and massage your face and wash off. This when repeated regularly gives you a smooth skin.
26. Mix sandalwood paste with rosewater and apply on the face. Rinse off after 30 minutes.
27. Essential oil face mask for acne: Use a mask base powder, such as fuller's earth or kaolin powder. Use distilled or filtered water to make a paste. Mix 1 heaped teaspoon of base powder to 3 drops of essential oil. Add approximately 2 tablespoons of the water in, to make a fluid yet balanced paste. Essential oils to add in the mask either separately or try smaller amounts together; cypress oil 1 drop, lemon oil 2 drops, sage oil 1 drop.
28. Mix the paste of tender neem leaves with turmeric and apply of affected area. An eastern approach to acne home remedies.
29. Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. Pimples disappear like magic without leaving a mark.
30. Make a mixture of lime juice and rose water. Apply on face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
31. Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.
32. Rub fresh garlic on and around pimples. Pimples will disappear without a mark with regular applications.
33. Mix 1 tsps groundnut oil with 1 tspn fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples .
34. Ground drumstick pods and leaves and mix mixed with fresh lime juice, and apply on pimples. This is also good for blackheads and dark spots.
35. First wash face and then dab acne with cotton balls soaked in vinegar.
36. Mix groundnut oil with an equal amtount of fresh lime juice and apply on face. leave for 10-15 minutes and wash. It may be applied daily to prevent formation of blackheads, acne and pimples.
37. Apply juice of raw papaya (including the skin and seed) on swelling acne, pimples.
38. Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for acne, pimples, blackheads, and cracked skin.
39. Apply ripe Tomatoes pulp on acne, pimples and kept upto 1 hour, then wash.
40. Make a paste of roasted %26amp; powdered pomgranate skin with fresh lime juice and apply over acne, boils, pimple, blackheads and whiteheads.
41. Apply grated potatoes as poultice to treat skin blemishes, wrinkles, boils, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads , etc.
42. Make a paste of ground radish seeds with water and apply on face to remove blackheads.
43. Apply a paste of ground seasame seeds with water as poultice for inflammation of the skin due to allergies, skin rashes, and pimples.
44. Large pores on facial skin can be treated with paste of sandalwood powder with masoor dal.
45. Use an oatmeal or almond mask throughly to cleanse your face. Mix either oatmeal or almond powder with enough rose water to make a soft paste that spreads easily on the skin. Rub it on your skin with your fingertips, paying special attention the problem areas. Leave to dry for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with cold water. This is very good in getting rid of blackheads.
46. A solution made out of one and a half cups of hot water and half a tablespoon of boric powder is an ideal remedy for blackheads, Saturate a face napkin in this hot solution and press on to the skin, repeat twice. Extract blackheads carefully with a blackhead remover and sterilized cottonwool. Pat on an astrigent.
47. Honey is a great remedy for skin blemishes and acne because the honey kills bacteria.

Yes if you want them to go away fast, then use toothpaste. Before you go to bed dab some on it and then wash it off in the morning. To keep them from coming back you want to get good makeup remover and cleanser.

if u just get the occational pimple, like myself. just make sure your taking ur makeup off at night and wash ur face in the morning, and when u do get a break out, i use Clearasil daily tinted acne treatment cream. the tint gives u coverage so u dont need to put makeup on to cover it which woudl lead to it getting worse and more clogged. after putting the cream on, i usually see results in a couple hours, it brings all the ickys to the surface then gently pop it with Q-tips - dont use ur fingers, it will add oil to it and ur will harm the skin around it making it take longer to heal. and try ur hardest not to messing with it, u will make it worse and then it will take longer to heal up. by doing this my pimples are usually completely gone in like a 2 or 3 days. the cream i mentioned also takes away redness too. hope i helped.

Ok put lemon juice on them or toothpaste over night to dry them out. Wash your face with warm water and soap everytime you feel that it's oily. Don't pop them. But if you have no choice, the flame the end of a pin and wash the pimple first with soap. Then use the disinfected pin and pop it. Use a clean towel or napkin to wipe it.
everybody is different but this is what works for me..
first thing: throw away all your make-up and old brushes you've been using. they collect the worst bacteria and germs.
second: proactiv solution. i hate infomercials but this definitely worked for me. after a while though, it stopped working (your skin just adapts to anything you use too much, truth be told). so now i use it maybe 3 times a week. i found a happy medium and it works great.
third: reduce the amount of sugar and greasy foods you consume. soda, candy, iced coffee drinks, etc... drink plenty of water and eat healthier.
fourth: don't over abuse your skin. when people break out, they have a tendency to go nuts and scrub the crap out of it and put on all sorts of stuff. chill out! you may irritate it and end up making it worse.
keep in mind that nothing will be a magical cure for it, unfortunately. you can definitely reduce it but don't think you're gonna wake up one day and it'll be gone forever. it sucks, trust me i know--but at least you'll feel more confident! i hope this helps!
i put rubbing alcohol on them and that clears them right up....i usually put it on once a day and it also keeps them from coming....also i put clearasil cream on them over night if its a bad one
This is what the lady who gave me a facial told me to do (because its what she did to me) and it works really good.
Soak a wash cloth with really hot water and let it soak on your face. it will open all the pores up. The use any kind of face wash. After you wash your face, put two pieces of toilet paper around your fingers and start squeezing around your face. Any dirt and oil that didnt come out when you washed your face will come out now because your pores will still be open. Any pimples you have will be gone within a day or two. You'll be amazed.

ok well when i asked questions like this everyone told me acne products and i used them...for you i suggest neutrogina acne scrub w/ micro beads..and GO OUTSIDE it sounds stupid but i've been out side more and more and my face is clearing up a TON...o and its probably also hormones...and that time of the month..so just be patient and try that scrub twice a day! it really works for me! good luck!

You might have to experiment with different products, but make sure that you don't try them all at once. That can aggravate your skin and make pimples worse. Some people's skin responds well to salicylic acid (0.5% is usually strong enough) while others find benzoyl peroxide works better. The key is to find products that work well together (face wash, toner, lotion and masks) and be consistent. You can't use products haphazardly and expect them to work as well as if you use them on a regular basis. Good luck!

I used to drink soda all the time and my face would break out BAD!!! So... just this summer I started drinking water all the time and I noticed that my face was clearing up really fast!!! So... my advice would be to drink tons of water!!! It will honestly help and you don't have to buy all of that stuff that is SUPPOSED to work!!!
