What is the difference between a pimple and a boil? And should you treat them differently?

Hmm, think I managed to ask my whole question within the first box- first time ever! lolWhat is the difference between a pimple and a boil? And should you treat them differently?
a boil is a painful, circumscribed pus-filled inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue usually caused by a local staphylococcal infection, while a pimple is just a small inflamation of the skin caused by a bit of bacteria trapped undernearth the skinWhat is the difference between a pimple and a boil? And should you treat them differently?
pimple is just a small..commonly appear in the parts of the body being exposed(to dirt%26amp;pollution)..while boil usually appear on the inner part of our body whereas located mostly in negative part and really hurts...should treat differently and need different ointments or medicines for healing...
my daughter just had a boil . Don't squeeze it. It can be a sign of a larger problem or it can just mean the affected area has been chaffing. See a doctor if it doesn't go away soon.

The only reason I didn't think hers was a pimple is because she is 4. They are kinda hard to tell apart.
