I have a weird pimple like thing on my eye-lid, can you get a pimple there?

It's toward the bottom close to where my eye lashes start. It hurts sometimes and sometimes I can feel it's there. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be?I have a weird pimple like thing on my eye-lid, can you get a pimple there?
Yes, its a stye, and they hurt!!! Dont worry, it will go away eventually all on its own, just like any other pimple.

';Most styes will drain on their own though this may be accelerated with a hot or warm compress, or by pulling out the eyelash. Styes typically resolve within 1 week with treatment. While a stye is technically a pimple and can be popped, doing so is not recommended without technical expertise[5] due to their proximity to the eye. Styes may also cause a bruising feeling around the eye which can be treated with a warm cloth. Doctors recommend making a solution of diluted baby shampoo to apply to the eye, to clean the infection out.

Medical professionals will sometimes lance a particularly persistent or irritating stye with a needle, to accelerate its draining.[6] A stye's spread or expansion can also be fought with the use of antibiotic ointment akin to Neosporin[7] (e.g. Erythromycin ophthalmic ointment), a special version being available for styes, which can be applied in a ribbon along the lid, on either inside or out. Medical professionals may also prescribe Amoxicillin for over a period of a week.[8]

If a stye bursts care must be taken to cleanse the wound to prevent infection.

Contact lenses should never be worn during treatment for a stye. Eye makeup can be worn but is not recommended.';I have a weird pimple like thing on my eye-lid, can you get a pimple there?
Its not a pimple, its a Stye.

It is a sty and I've had them before. I've had people tell me to like rub a penny and stuff on it to make it go away faster...yeah that doesn't work so dont try! But don't poke around on it, thatll make it worse. Either wait it out or put a hot wash cloth on it several times a day.
I never had it before but doctors are always good to go to lol
its a sty... put a hot wash cloth over it a few times a day
a tick, if it is white then it is an albino tick! get it off!
it might be a White Head..i get them all the time..
Sounds like an eye stye to me. Have a look at this website: http://www.health-care-articles.info/dis鈥?/a>

It could be an infected eyelash follicle. The best thing that I could tell you is not to touch it, and if you must, put a warm compress over the pimple to bring it to a head quicker so that it can pop naturally and therefore take care of the aggrivation. Do not pop it with your fingers, or rub it, or do anything else of that nature, you could irritate it even worse and then you could have some bigger problems. If it doesn't clear up, I would still see a doctor though.
Yes, it could be a pimple because I personally think they can apear almost anywhere on your body. But on the other hand I will urge you not to try to do anything to it before you seek medical help.
I get those too. It's just a clogged pore. So it is kinda like a pimple, even if it isn't all juicy and red like real pimple.

Take a hand towel and run it under some hot hot water, then squeeze out the excess water. Gently rub it on the eyelid - don't press on your eye. The hot steam will help open the pore, and the slightly rough texture to the cloth will loosen and exfoliate the bump. Do this a couple times a day and it should go away.

In the future, be careful about removing ALL your eye makeup.
I think it may be a stye, go to see your gp.
i would go to a dermatologist because it could be an easily removed calcium deposit. not sure where they come from but they can be removed painlessly
That is not a pimple, pimples do not hurt that is what they call a star
It's sounds like you may have a stye, which resembles a pimple on your eyelid, but is actually a staphylococcal bacterial infection. It forms when the gland in the eye becomes infected. It should only last a few days. You can speed the healing process by applying warm compresses, like a face cloth with warm water, to your eye several times a day. However, it it remains for a month or more and becomes like a hard ball, it may be a chalazion. Both a stye and chalazion are relatively harmless, but if you are very uncomfortable, or still unsure of what is on your eye, you should definately see a doctor. I doubt it is a pimple. :) Good luck!
Maybe it's an ingrown eyelash. That can be quite painful.

If it doesn't go away soon, visit your dr.

Yes it is a stye.. Wash your hands real good and then scrape it off with your fingernail. It will hurt at first but will be better in no time
It's called a sty.
It's a stye. Soak a washcloth in the hottest water you can stand and put it over your eye. This will relieve the pain.
A chalazion is a lump in the eyelid that is caused by inflammation of a gland within the skin. Typically, this lump grows over days to weeks and is occasionally red, warm, or painful.

The gland involved in the formation of a chalazion is a modified sweat gland that lies within the eyelid. This gland produces oil. When this gland becomes blocked, it can rupture and the inflammation process begins.

Inflammation is a process in which the body reacts to a condition and produces a biologic reaction. This reaction can cause swelling, redness, pain, or warmth.

A chalazion is not a sty. A sty can resemble a chalazion in the sense that it is also a lump in the eyelid. However, a sty involves glands and eyelash hair follicles that are closer to the skin surface of the eyelid. In addition, a sty is usually more painful and looks infected.
***That is a stye and they are sometimes caused because of lack of sleep and or poor diet or stress. Use hot compresses to accelerate the healing, also use diluted baby shampoo to wash the area of infection.
I get those sometimes. They always go away. I don't worry about them.
yes
Well it might not be a pimple, it could be layered dead skin cells.

If you get these often by step 2 exfoliation by Clinique. It's a miraculous product and it refreshes your skin and gets rid of excessive oils and pimples.
lol but i don't think it's a pimple. I think you should try to see a doctor before it gets so bad that you ccan't even open your eyes.
You have a stye. It may go away by itself, but if your whole eye gets pink you have to go to the Dr. and get some drops. I used to get them more when I had contacts. If you have contacts you have to stop wearing them until it goes away.
It's probably a stye. Go to your doctor.
It is a stye Look it up online.
Maybe a Cyst a harmless hard fat deposit, easily removed. Pimples appear when the oil glands get blocked and infected. Cysts when the fat hardens. See a doctor
Styes...I think that's how you spell it....they're like pimples on your eyelids....
